“You’re a Stupid Person” – Prophet Oduro Fires Back at Bishop Obinim Over Public Marriage Drama
Prophet Dr Kofi Oduro, the outspoken leader of Alabaster International Ministry, has delivered a sharp rebuke to Bishop Daniel Obinim, condemning the public airing of marital grievances from the pulpit.
During a sermon on July 5, 2026, Prophet Oduro emphasized that the pulpit is a sacred space that demands maturity and integrity. He argued that a true man of God should act as a father figure, maintaining impartiality and responsibility rather than using church services to settle personal family scores.
“How can a man of God come to the pulpit and bring his wife matter? You’re a very stupid person because we expect you to hold responsibility,” Prophet Oduro stated. He further added that anyone standing in the capacity of a prophet of God “doesn’t fool around.”
While Oduro did not explicitly name Obinim, the timing of his remarks coincides with Bishop Obinim’s recent public outbursts regarding his marriage to gospel singer Florence Obinim. Obinim had previously used his platform to accuse his wife of disrespect and even suggested the church should handle his funeral instead of her.
Interestingly, just days before Oduro’s sermon, Obinim claimed he had received divine instruction from the Holy Spirit to cease the public attacks and move on from the marital dispute.
