DJ KA and Ama Parone’s Old Video Goes Viral Amid Alleged Leak Controversy
An old video of Kessben FM’s DJ KA and Lynk Radio presenter Ama Parone has resurfaced online, gaining massive traction at the same time an alleged private video leak linked to the Kumasi-based radio personality began making the rounds on social media.
DJ KA, real name Rexford Adu Ntim, found himself at the centre of online conversations on July 21, 2026, after an alleged private video started circulating across various social media platforms. TikTok gossip, largely fuelled by content creator Captain Caesar, pointed to a content creator as the woman in the clip — though the identity of the lady in the video remains unconfirmed.
As the speculation intensified, an older street interview video from Kumasi began making the rounds. The clip features DJ KA in a lively, relaxed conversation with Ama Parone of Lynk Radio, filmed outdoors on a paved road lined with palm trees. In the video, the two enthusiastically break down the lyrics and deeper meaning behind legendary Ghanaian highlife artist Daddy Lumba’s classic song, Odo Ntira.
During their exchange, DJ KA asked Ama Parone about her age after she appeared unfamiliar with some of the Twi expressions he used — to which she laughed and described herself as “a small girl.” The footage, originally shared by Afi Doku on Facebook, offered a glimpse into the side of DJ KA that earned him his loyal following: a passionate and encyclopaedic knowledge of Ghanaian highlife and classical music.
DJ KA has built a significant digital presence across TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook, largely through content that celebrates and educates audiences on traditional Ghanaian music. However, the clip’s unfortunate timing — surfacing right in the middle of the leak controversy — gave it far more visibility than it would have ordinarily received.
With his name already trending across platforms, social media users flooded the comments section of the resurfaced video, with many interpreting the footage through the lens of the swirling allegations rather than its original intent.
As of now, DJ KA has not made any public statement regarding the alleged leaked video.
