Jarvis Reveals Peller Asked Her to Do a Blood Covenant With Him

Nigerian content creator Jarvis has revealed that her fiancé, popular internet personality Peller, once suggested they enter into a blood covenant to solidify their commitment to each other — a proposal she firmly turned down on religious grounds.

Speaking on The Honest Bunch Podcast, Jarvis explained that Peller was inspired by stories he came across on social media about couples who had taken similar oaths, with the belief that anyone who cheats after such a covenant faces dire consequences.

“Peller asked me to do a blood covenant with him, but I didn’t agree. He said he saw on social media that some people have done it and the consequences involved. That if anyone cheats after doing it, something will happen to him or her, so we should do it.”

Jarvis, however, made it clear that her Christian faith would not allow her to partake in such a practice.

“I believe the only blood covenant we have is with God, so all those ones are not something we should be doing.”

Despite rejecting the idea, Jarvis maintained that she has no concerns about Peller’s faithfulness, stating that their relationship is anchored in trust, prayer, and commitment.

“He has not cheated on me before. If he cheats on me, he will die. That’s the rule of our relationship. We’re in a commitment, and the fact that we pray together means God is involved.”

She further clarified that her strong words were a reference to the vows and oath of loyalty they had made to each other, rather than any literal blood covenant. Jarvis expressed confidence that their relationship, rooted in love and faith, would stand the test of time.
